Queen of the Night Cactus
The Queen of the Night Cactus (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) is native to southern Mexico and large portions of Central and South America. Prized for its fragrant, elegant blooms that last only a night, this fast growing cactus has a special spot in my plant collectors hearts. They are a prime specimen to display in a hanging basket or a pot with a trellis for support, and best kept somewhere their blooms can be viewed at night.
Care Instructions: Bright indirect light, be sure to protect from harsh afternoon sun, a well-draining succulent and cacti potting mix, water sparingly when dry and protect from frost.
