Landscape Laborer
Hours: 5-10 hrs per week. Must be flexible. Schedule will be based around specific jobs & client projects.
Salary: $20/hr.
GardenistaJax is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated individual to assist with customer landscape design projects, landscape construction, installation and maintenance of new landscaping projects.
Responsibilities:
Digging holes for installation of new plants.
Lifting bags of soil and other landscape materials.
Relocating pots and planters.
Removal of debris, such as weeds, leaves and old materials.
Installation of new plants, trees and shrubs.
Applying mulch and spreading fertilizer.
Order pick-up and deliveries.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a background check
Excellent stamina and in good physical condition
Must be able to work in the elements
Must be able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods.
Use basic gardening tools including hand tools and motorized tools
Attention to details and good working ethics
Must be able to follow directions and take constructive criticism
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
