March 2024: Orchid Kokedama Ball Workshop

Get ready to play in the moss and unleash your inner plant artist as we craft Orchid Kokedama balls at this planty workshop!

Join us for a DIY Workshop with GardenistaJax! 

India, the witty plant-a-holic behind Gardenista Jax, will guide you through the process of getting your green thumbs dirty as you craft an ornamental Kokedama ball showcasing a beautiful Orchid - because who wants a plain orchid when you can use your green thumbs as elegant floral ninjas!

Originating in 17th century Japan, kokedama carries deep roots. It's actually derived from the bonsai – Nearai bonsai, to be specific – and is believed to encapsulate the ancient practice and philosophy of Wabi-sabi, which centers around the notion of finding beauty in the transience and imperfections of nature.

When:
Thursday, March 28 at 6pm to 8pm
OR
Saturday, March 30 at 11am to 1pm

Hearty dips and snacks and desserts will be provided for guests, so be sure to come hungry and ready to snack, socialize and create! 

All items needed for this project will be provided, so you can make the custom creation of your dreams.

Where: 
Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
